Game Pathways needs support and partnership from companies who support our mission. There are two ways your organization can contribute!
Become a Partner
Simply by completing the form below, you can join a private directory of game publishers committed to supporting issues of diversity and inclusion in our industry. Depending on the partnership level you select, you can opt into any of the following:
Providing opportunities for playtesting and convention work.
Offering jobs and internships.
Reviewing game design submissions.
This directory will be provided to all Game Pathways participants, but the information will not be posted publicly. You can choose the level of support your company is willing to provide. You don’t need to have active job openings to participate; you’re only giving permission for students to contact your company about potential opportunities.
Become a Sponsor
Your tax-deductible* contribution can support our 2022 Learning Program and future initiatives. All administrative costs for Game Pathways are fully funded through 2023, so your donation will go directly toward programs that connect under-represented students and job seekers with opportunities in the industry.
How Will Your Sponsorship Make an Impact?
Because overhead costs for Game Pathways are already fully funded, you can be confident that your donation goes directly toward supporting our programs. Here are examples of where your dollars will go:
$250 funds a Student Stipend. Every student will receive this stipend to cover transportation costs and any hourly wages lost during the weekend event.
$500 funds Educational Materials for a class of students. Every student will receive a design notebook, playtesting materials, a hardcopy of Think Like a Game Designer, and access to online learning resources.
$750 funds a Program Leader. Our 2022 learning event will be staffed by industry leaders. Your contribution helps fund the travel expenses or honorarium for one speaker or facilitator.
$1000 funds a Game Design Grant. This is reserved for outstanding students who show continued follow-up after the experiential learning
$2500 funds Online Educational Content. At this level, you’ll help us grow beyond our face-to-face LA-based event and provide free online materials for students nationwide.
$5000 funds a full Program Expansion: A sponsorship at this level will help us expand the Game Pathways program to other school districts and increase our reach to communities outside of Los Angeles.
While Game Pathways will allocate funds wherever they’re needed most, let us know (in the Comments section above) if you have a preference for how your donation is spent.

Game Pathways is registered with the California Secretary of State as a nonprofit organization and is currently 501c3 pending for the federal government. You are able to obtain a write-off for your donation while we are in pending status. Every sponsor will receive a donation receipt with our federal tax ID number.
